About this winery
The Alvarez family, owner of the iconic Bodega Vega Sicilia, has founded Alion as a distinct entity in 1986. Out of Vega Sicilia’s 85 ha estate, about 50 ha are devoted to the Alion cuvee, which is made in a more modern style. The equipment uses state-of-the-art technology and the winemaking techniques give Tempranillo a whole new twist.
