Charming bouquet with a hint of flowers and plums. Suave and very concentrated, but there’s enough acidity to give it drive – a combination of richness and Margaux elegance. Everything is in place.

Barrel sample. Ripely juicy, a wine that feels fresh as much as rich. It shows extreme berry juice as well as acidity. But there is also some density.

A chewy red, with blackberry and blueberry character and polished tannins. Full, with a solid core of fruit. Serious finish. Balanced and attractive.

Barrel sample. Great, solid wine, intensely structured, balanced with sufficient new wood. This has excellent potential, a wine with some freshness, but more weight from the ripe black fruits.

Relatively youthful ruby-garnet hue. Aromatically pleasant with a bouquet of blackcurrant and blueberry. Ripe with some sweetness and added density on the mid palate. Tannins supple and round. Length on the finish and, at last, some Margaux typicality and elegance.
