About this winery

In 1994, Pablo Eguzkiza and Telmo Rodríguez, along with a third oenologist, created a Garnacha from old bush vineyards in Navarra. The wine was called Alma (soul). This is how the business started, originally under the name of Compañía de Vinos de La Granja. Product notes

12 Has of own vineyard worked in biodynamic and in process of Demeter certification. 8 Has of supplier´s vineyards with traditional viticulture.

Placed between 500 and 600 m of altitude. Located on plateaus over continental Miocene sandstone strata. Flat shallow soils, stony, calcareous and silty textured. Low fertility and low water retention capacity.

Tasting notes

An alluring red, showing blackberry, tobacco, licorice and espresso notes, focused and expressive, in a broad but supple texture backed by firm, well-integrated tannins.
