Product notes

The grapes for our 2013 Petite Sirah were harvested between August 28 - Sept. 26, 2013, with an average Brix of 26.8.

Production notes

After fermenting on the skins for 6-9 days, the must was pressed and the resulting wine finished fermentation in Stainless Steel tanks.

Tasting notes

The 2013 Petite Sirah is deep purple in color, with an exceptionally bright hue. The nose is filled with ripe blackberry, toffee and a bit of clove. Flavors of juicy dark berry fruit are abundant. The round dense wine has a mocha finish which is absent of any astringency.

Joe Czerwinski, August 2018 (Vintage 2016)

A 50-50 blend of Grenache and Merlot, the 2016 IGP Principaute d’Orange A Cote was raised entirely in concrete. It's a dark, plummy red, with ample depth and concentration, a velvety mouthfeel and a long finish. It's not the most complex red, but at $15 retail, it's a terrific bargain in a ready-to-drink red.
