About this winery

The long history of the Montresor family boasts illustrious ancestors, like the Count Claude de Montresor, the prime counsellor of Duke D'Orleans in France in 1600 (his writings, "Memoirs", dating back to 1663, are considered of great interest). Product notes

This wine is obtained from grapes coming of authoctone vines, such as the corvina veronese, molinara and rondinella. Historical studies refer that the dedication of this territory to the viticulture dates back to the roman age, however it was is during the middle ages that there was a strong improvement in this activity: in fact in the xiv century, 30-40% of the lands were cultivate exclusively to the growing of the grapes.
