Product notes
The village of VISAN is nestled in the heart of the Pope Enclave, in the northern part of the South Rhône Valley. Viticulture has always held a predominant place in this region. We can find in Visan a great diversity of terroir combining well exposed rocky slopes, plateaux and “garrigues”. This Mosaique of terroirs is wonderful to cultivate local grape varieties such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan. Syrah becomes a master piece in the blends.
Production notes
Traditional method, cuvaison during 12 to 15 days with pigeage. Temperature control to manage a smouth extraction.
Tasting notes
Nice bright red-purple color. Notes of black olives, ripe fruits (Raspberry), cocoa. In the mouth, a round and well structured wine with smooth and fine tannins. Nice balance between tannins and fruitiness. Fresh and long finish (eucalyptus).
