Product notes
Clos des Fous derives its name from an ambitious and somewhat crazy initiative started in the Bío Bío Valley, a region located in the far south of Chile, subject to a cool austral climate. This project aims to cultivate vineyards according to the principles of dry farming in very challenging conditions, far from ideal for vine planting. The approach combines extreme viticulture, organic or biodynamic farming, and non-interventionist winemaking to reveal Chilean terroirs and their wonderful potential, using grapes from old vines.
Tasting notes
Aromas of fruits, spices, and earth with a hint of very pleasant vegetal notes. Good acidity level, quite fresh and long. It features flavors of red and black fruits, spices, and earth. A delightful wine at a good price!
