Product notes

Alenza is a special wine whose name comes from the contraction of the names of Alejandro Fernández and his wife Esperanza. It is elaborated in the traditional way, that is, by fermenting the must with the stems, without previous de-stemming. It is a Gran Reserva that is only created in special vintages and it is obtained from a specific vineyard: Viña Valera.

Tasting notes

Attractive intense red garnet colour with red cherry edges. It gives off a wide range of ripe fruit aromas such as blackberry, red currant and forest fruits preserve intertwined with balsamic and mineral hints. This wine is intense on the palate, but with a very striking silkiness. Elegant and sweet while serious and ample at the same time. Its great softness in the mouth is its differentiating feature. Its fnish is subtle with the reappearance of the fruity flavours of red currants and forest fruits preserve with balsamic and mineral hints.
