Jane Anson, November 2020 (Vintage 2018)Located in St-Seurin-de-Cadourne, a high-quality location with excellent gravel
terroir. Good quality, young and a little austere right now, but there is personality here and depth to the blackberry and raspberry fruits. Enjoyable crushed mint leaf on the finish. A yield of 30hl/ha, 25% new oak, clay-limestone soils. In biodynamic conversion, with certification for the 2019 vintage. Interesting family here also - owner Max de Pourtalès used to work in finance in Paris and Germany, and his wife is an actress in New York.

(Vintage 2018)Blackcurrant, spiced-cherry, pine and licorice aromas. It’s medium-bodied with fine, integrated tannins. Plenty of fruit. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

December 2020 (Vintage 2018)Bright and expressive with a minerally, red-fruit
edge. Lots of fruit and energy . Chalky tannins. Fresh and dry on the finish despite the glow of alcohol.(JL).
