About this winery

The roots of the Zeyssolff family in Alsace go back to the 16th century. In 1574, two Zeyssolff brothers, a lawyer and a judge, received a coat of arms for services rendered to the city of Strasbourg. In 1778, Jean-Daniel Zeyssolff, wine-grower in Gertwiller, founded the G. Zeyssolff wine estate. Product notes

Around the village of Gertwiller, our vines of Auxerrois are exposed southeast, at the bottom of the Saint-Odile Mount, between 215 and 315 meters (700 and 1000 ft) high. The soil, limestone and clay, gives a magnificence to the grape.The average is 25 years old.

Tasting notes

Shiny, limpid with pale green reflections, it is an easy and crunchy wine with fresh peer and jasmine notes. Expressive in the mouth, rich, with a beautiful structure. To enjoy now, with simple dishes. Keep : 3-5 years.
