Located in St-Seurin-de-Cadourne, a high-quality location with excellent gravel
terroir. Good quality, young and a little austere right now, but there is personality here and depth to the blackberry and raspberry fruits. Enjoyable crushed mint leaf on the finish. A yield of 30hl/ha, 25% new oak, clay-limestone soils. In biodynamic conversion, with certification for the 2019 vintage. Interesting family here also - owner Max de Pourtalès used to work in finance in Paris and Germany, and his wife is an actress in New York. |
