See detailed press reviewThe 2018 Desmirail is a gorgeous wine for readers who want a bottle to drink now. Plush and inviting, the 2018 possesses terrific depth in its inky dark fruit. Spice, chocolate, dried herbs and licorice add pretty aromatic top notes to balance all of that natural richness. All the elements are harmonious and impeccably balanced. There is so much to like.
Tight tannins and dark fruits; powerful and confident. There are some ferocious tannins here that make it a little atypical for Margaux, but there is real promise, with some appealing berry fruits.
