James Suckling

(Vintage 2015)

Some smoky notes as well as graphite and brambly dark-berry aromas lead to a palate that is framed in firm but fluid tannins. There's some good depth and chew to the finish. Second wine of Château Pibran. Try from 2020.

Jane Anson, (Vintage 2015)

This is restrained and well made, a touch soft through the mid-palate but this is a good wine. It has menthol notes with tannins a little chalky but they will integrate over the next few years. It has a sense of gentle confidence. 50% new oak.

(Vintage 2015)
