About this winery

Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines. Originally the company was a classic negotiant business, based in Nuits St. Georges and engaged in the buying and selling of wine but not the production of it. 2019 (Vintage 2017)

Un blanc de Bourgogne très élégant avec des notes florales délicates et séduisantes accompagnées de citrons confits rafraîchissants. Élégant et poli en bouche avec une finale longue, complexe et crayeuse. Essayez-le en 2020.

Charles Curtis, (Vintage 2019)

From just over 1ha of mostly old vines at the top of the slope that Faiveley has owned since 2014. The grapes are fermented in cask (half new) to give a wine with ripe apple and spice notes on the nose, then a rich texture that is still well balanced by a fresh, lemony acidity. Marvellously balanced, with good concentration and length.

Neal Martin, January 2019 (Vintage 2017)

The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Champ Gain 1er Cru comes from a single parcel of just over one hectare. It has a taut, linear bouquet with scents of Golden Delicious apple, wax resin and almond. The palate is well balanced, offering orange zest and apricot, a keen thread of acidity and a bright, quite tensile finish. This should be delicious virtually straight from bottling.
