Product notes

Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri is the oldest wine Estate from Rioja. This property belongs to two villages; Labastida Alava and San Vicente de La Sonsierra from Rioja Alta. Some of the best grape growers from those two villages have vineyards touching the Estate of Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri and for more than 30 years the grapes were brought to Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri. In 2009 they decided to separate those grapes from the others of the Estate and make two new wines called “Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida” and “Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente”. Lindes de Remelluri will show the best profile from the outstanding villages of Labastida and San Vicente de La Sonsierra.

Production notes

Entirely hand-picked in 20kg cases. Harvest begins at the end of September/early October and ends late October. Selection in vineyard as well as on table. Native yeasts for fermentation.

(Vintage 2019)

Vibrant and juicy Rioja with black cherries, white pepper, grilled herbs, potpourri and a lovely balsamic undertone. A medium-bodied Rioja with lots of fine, chalky tannins that spread across the palate with a linear mouth-feel. Understated, refined and very drinkable. Drink now or hold for a few years.
