About this winery
The Siro Pacenti estate was founded in 1971, but its story truly began in 1988 when Giancarlo Pacenti (Siro's son) decided to fully dedicate himself to managing the family estate. It was in the early 1990s, during a visit to Bordeaux, that Giancarlo began to gain a deep understanding of the Montalcino terroir. The total estate includes 20 hectares of cereal crops and 20 hectares of olive groves and woods as well as 20 hectares of sangiovese grosso vineyards. Production is 60,000 bottles per...

Product notes
The Siro Pacenti estate practices sustainable agriculture. The natural sediment that occasionally accurs in our bottles is evidence of our winemaking philosophy. Sangiovese 100% coming from our vineyards of over 35 years old Harvesting is done only by hand on a production for strain of 800/1.000 g., Manual sorting of grapes on appropriate tables before and after the destemming. Wine making is done in steel at controlled temperature Aged in french oak by 225 lt. for 24 months and then in bottle.
Tasting notes
Complex aromas of walnut, dark fruit, stone, oyster shell, chalk and dried fruits. Structured and elegant, with silky tannins and a long finish.
