About this winery

The Siro Pacenti estate was founded in 1971, but its story truly began in 1988 when Giancarlo Pacenti (Siro's son) decided to fully dedicate himself to managing the family estate. Antonio Galloni, (Vintage 2017)

Leave it to Giancarlo Pacenti to make one of the most polished Rossos of 2017. Sleek and racy, with tons of persistence, the 2017 is super-expressive today. Dark cherry, spice, menthol, licorice and espresso all run through this mid-weight, striking Rosso. All the elements are impeccably balanced, in a pliant, racy Rosso that delivers the goods. This is such a delicious wine.

June 2019 (Vintage 2017)

Ripe plum, baking-spice, menthol and blue-flower aromas lead the way on this young red. Savory and medium bodied, the palate delivers succulent black cherry, coffee bean, mint and licorice alongside close-grained tannins. Drink through 2021.
