Antonio Galloni, (Vintage 2019)

The 2019 Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne is soft, fruity and very easy to like. Crushed raspberry fruit, sweet spice, mint and licorice are all kicked up in this tasty, mid-weight Barbera. The 2019 is a real charmer.

Monica Larner, July 2020 (Vintage 2018)

This is the most accessible of the five expressions of Barbera (from both Alba and Asti) made by Vietti. The 2018 Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne opens to dark cherry and blackberry with good textural richness at the back. There is a lot of fruit fiber and support here to counter the abundant blackberry and cherry flavors that are so characteristic of this grape.

(Vintage 2020)

The Vietti 2020 Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne is packed tight with primary fruit, especially sweet black cherry and blackberry. Aged in a combination of barrique (for a brief six months) and botte (for an additional 12 months), this wine reveals medium dark concentration with earthy tones, black truffle and spice. Fruit is sourced from three individual Barbera vineyards all located within the greater Barolo appellation
