About this winery
In 1994, Pablo Eguzkiza and Telmo Rodríguez, along with a third oenologist, created a Garnacha from old bush vineyards in Navarra. The wine was called Alma (soul). This is how the business started, originally under the name of Compañía de Vinos de La Granja. Pruning: 100% bush vine
Soil: Pleistocen fluvials terraces, chalky soils and soils developed from conglomerates
Viticulture: 4,5 Has of own vineyards worked in organic in process of getting the certification
Harvest: Selection in vineyard. 100% hand picking
Fermentation: Native yeasts
Fermentation tank: Oak wooden casks of 3000 kg
Maturing: 15-18 months in 100% new French oak barrels
