Tasting notes

2PiR is the mathematical equation for the circumference of a circle. The winery’s goal was to make a round wine with its GrataVinum 2PiR. In developing this wine we have tried to collect in a bottle the uniqueness of the wines of Priorat. A stunning effort from Priorat, the deep ruby/purple-colored 2003 GrataVinum reveals gorgeous aromas of black raspberries, cherries, currants, crushed rocks, and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied and powerful, with sweet tannins, beautiful purity, and decent acidity, it is an impressive, world-class wine that can be drunk young or cellared for 10-12 years. It is big, but also refreshing and rich.
