About this winery

We want to indulge you with our expressive, high quality wine. Our grapes ripen in sunny, steep hillsides safe from wind within the Nahetal and Rheinhessen region. What we care about is a strong crop reduction in the vineyard as well as a gentle treatment of the grapes. In order to guarantee best quality, we harvest our grapes by thorough hand picking. Afterwards, we grant our wine sufficient time and rest in the cellar. As a family business, we don’t only care about our wine, but also about...

Production notes

This bottling comes from the site Kapellenberg (Churchhill) in neighboring of the village Münster. The soil in this site is a mixture of loess and quarzit. The Pinot Blanc grapes were hand picked in the early cool hours of the morning, to preserve the natural fruit flavors. The wine was barrel fermented and aged on lees to add the wine richness and complexity.

Tasting notes

The wine is zippy on the palate with a medley of ripe flavors: orange, lemon, nectarine and an intriguing almond note; it strikes a balance between rich, persistent mouth feel and a refreshing finish.A clean nose of orange and peach with a hint of caramel.
