Our project is to make wine as naturally as possible: reasoning the treatments and lowering the dosage of phyto products, favoring bio-diversity in the vineyard, revitalizing the soils, non-interventionist vinification. Our vineyards and our vinification are conducted in organic; certification by Ecocert France. The bottles, the corks, the boxes, everything is studied to have less impact on the planet. In 2010, the roof of our winery was transformed into a photovoltaic power plant; our own production is about the equivalent of our consumption in the winery. At the beginning of 2013, most of our parcels are qualified as "organic"; other parcels, which we have taken over in the last years, will follow. At the beginning of 2017, a big step for the domain: we increase our exploited surface from 6 hectares to 10 hectares of vines, while remaining "organic". The additional 4 hectares require a lot of effort following years of abuse. Arrival of a new tractor of treatment to be able to continue the bio on a surface much more important. Spring 2018, we recovered two more "forgotten" parcels, in aligoté and pinot noir. Then, on the Mellecey side, we planted 18 ares of new chardonnay vines. We are on 11 hectares, in 28 different plots. The production reaches 50.000 bottles. In 2019, the estate is expanding with a plot of AOC Bouzeron, whose first vintage is now available in the store. Then, 2020. Such a special year, for us a big rush since February. Between the 1st confinement, the closing of our restaurant clients, the spectacularly beautiful spring and summer, the early harvest, the curfew, the reconfinement .... We are still alive and kicking.
