ONE MAS, A MOSAIC OF TERROIRS The Mas Passe Temps, who gave its name to the first wine made by Laurent de Besombes Singla in 2001 (a 100 % black grenache), girded with red earth, stands on the firsts Corbières Catalans foothills. Housed in the middle of rock, scrubland, and pinewoods, the plots - 50 hectares in total - follow the natural physionomy of the place : hills, steep slopes and plains. Laurent de Besombes Singla found the way to reveal the amazing potential of this terroir. SOME GRAPES WHO LOVE SUN Faithful to the grapes who love the Sun of Roussillon, he creates some authentic wines, fine, elegants, full of earth that brought them. Following the cuvées, reds are made of black grenache, carignan, mourvèdre and syrah, whites, of macabeu, white grenache, grey grenache, Alexandrie's muscat, small grains muscat. AN AGRICULTURE RESPECTFUL OF ITS LAND Since he took back the family farm, Laurent de Besombes isolated the bests tenements, 50 hectares in total who hold the name of Domaine Singla. He replaced weedkiller, chemical fertilizers and other synthetic products by natural materials such as horsetail, comfrey, lime, sulfur, nettle, fennel… He revived the plots, working throughout the seasons. Since, in the wastelands, hedges and surrounding scrubland, ecosystem took back its rights. The Domaine is certified in organic agriculture since 2006.
