Founded in 2000 by Ernesto Catena, a fourth-generation winemaker of Italian descent, the winery embodies his unique winemaking approach known as "the path of the artist". Ernesto's mission is to elevate winemaking to an art form akin to painting, music, and dance, expressing the soul through wine. Inspired by local Inca and Mayan traditions, the winery in Vista Flores, Mendoza, integrates pre-Columbian architecture. Committed to organic and biodynamic practices, they seek harmony with nature and the universe, inviting visitors to understand their philosophy firsthand amidst the Andean foothills.
