About this winery

The first written documents that attest to the Bisol family's presence as vine-growers in the hills of Valdobbiadene date back to 1542. Since then, their story has remained indissolubly linked to this absolutely unique area and to caring for the vineyards that grow there, even before the world had ever heard of Prosecco. Product notes

“Crede” is the local dialect term for the clay-laden soil that characterizes the vineyards in the municipality of Valdobbiadene where the grapes used to produce this Prosecco Superiore are chosen. These ancient slopes were once covered by the sea and later formed by the slow movement of the land arching up and inclining the strata vertically. The clay-rich soil traps water close to the roots of the vine, ensuring that they are never short of water. This allows the grapes to develop a rich, fine-grained acidity and delicate, floral notes.

Tasting notes

COLOUR - brilliant straw yellow with lime-green highlights and a fine and persistent perlage. BOUQUET - wild flowers; balanced intensity; fresh and elegant. Finishes with a pleasant fruitiness. FLAVOUR - true to the bouquet in its fruity notes of apples and pears; its balance is rounded off by its rich and fine taste.

Kerin O'Keefe, (Vintage 2017)

Green apple and white spring flower shape the enticing nose on this fragrant sparkler. The silky polished palate doles out Bartlett pear, lemon zest and nectarine alongside a dollop of ginger. Fresh acidity and a creamy mousse provide the backdrop.

Mineral, zest and salinity lend real finesse. Persistent mousse and an attractive bitter note on the finish.

A more delicate style to this with green-apple and pear-peel character, medium body and a fresh finish. Like the hint of bitterness at the end. Dry. Drink now.
