This is also aromatically cool and pure with its slightly more elegant nose of dark currant, spice, violet and plum. I really like the sophisticated texture of the seductive and sappy flavors that is due in large part to the refined tannins that are dense but fine, all wrapped in an intensely mineral-driven finish. This too is first-rate and should amply reward mid-term cellaring of up to a decade and perhaps even a bit longer
