About this winery

Founded in 1584, Gosset is the oldest wine producer in Champagne. At that time, the wines of Champagne were still table wines produced from pinot noir and chardonnay; the wines from Ay were ranked with the wines of Beaune as the finest in France. It was not until the 18thCentury that the production of sparkling wine began; to this day Gosset uses the same antique flask bottle that was first used in the 1700’s. Today Champagne Gosset is owned by the Cointreau family, also owners of Cognac...

2021

Vibrant and with mouthwatering acidity, this racy rosé Champagne is fine like raw silk on the palate, layering a chalky undertow with a detailed range of white cherry, peach skin and raspberry fruit. Hints of Marcona almond, graphite and spice linger on the minerally finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Drink now through 2026. 315 cases imported.

A bright nose of strawberry and pink-grapefruit aromas with hints of blood oranges and berries, as well as almond biscuits. The palate has a super vibrant, fleshy ball of fresh red-fruit flavor and delivers a refreshing, minerally finish.

2017

Gosset's NV Brut Grand Rosé is brisk and chiseled to the core, with plenty of bright cranberry, citrus and floral notes that give the wine lift. Deceptively pale in color and light in body, the Grand Rosé makes its case with persistence and focus. The dry, bracing style is best suited to the dinner table, especially with lighter, fish-based dishes. Disgorged on May 31, 2016. Dosage is 9 grams per liter.
