Product notes
Distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2022. The twelfth limited edition the Tullibardine Marquess Collection marries together whisky finish in three type of Port cask: White Port, Tawny Port and Ruby Port. The result is a delicately blushed peach spirit which imbues a cacophony of sweet, fruity and warming aromas and flavour notes. The Murray name derives from the 2nd Marquess of Tullibardine, Sir William Murray, who fought for the Jacobites at the Battle of Sheriffmuir on the Ochil hills above the Tullibardine distillery.
Tasting notes
On the nose, notes of tart raspberries and succulent black fruit from the Ruby Port casks are balanced with the subtle aromas of baked apple and crème caramel derived from the whisky finished in White Port casks. Layers of spiced oak, cloves and cinnamon on the palate from the Tawny Port casks. The finish is spicy and warming.
