CHÂTEAU - FIGEAC

Petit Figeac Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2015

- 17 points -

35% of the crop; they have to make a second wine because they have quite a lot of young vines. 32% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon. Yield 41 hl/ha. Picked 21 September – 15 October (for very late Cabernet Franc)! 30% new oak and shorter élevage.
Good drive and raciness on the nose. Real sinew and savour. Polished tannins but good Figeac character. A success! Superior ink. GV?
